Baseball Announces Prospect Camp Date

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron baseball program and head coach Rick Rembielak will be hosting a one day Fall Prospect Camp on Sunday, October 27. The camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will be open to players from the class of 2014, 2015, and 2016 who have interest in playing college baseball.
Camp activities will be held on Lee Jackson Field. If there is inclement weather, camp will move into the Stile Athletics Field House. Camp will consist of running, fielding, throwing, and batting practice. In addition a game will be played to allow the staff to evaluate the players under game conditions. Parents will have the option to attend a recruiting session with one of the coaches from The University of Akron coaching staff.
The camp will be limited to 80 participants. Each player will also receive a post-camp email evaluation from the Akron baseball coaching staff. Every registrant will receive camp day instructions via email one week before the camp.
Parent or legal guardian must fill out a waiver for each participant to participate in an Akron baseball camp. No camper will be allowed to participate without a completed and signed waiver.
