Baseball Announces Prospect Camp Dates

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron baseball program and head coach Rick Rembielak will be hosting two, one-day Prospect Camps in August.
The camps will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM on both Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25. Each camp will be open to players from the class of 2014, 2015, and 2016 who have interest in playing college baseball.
Each camp will consist of running, fielding, throwing, and batting practice. In addition, games will be played to allow the staff to evaluate the players under game conditions. Parents will have the option to attend a recruiting session with one of the coaches from the University of Akron coaching staff.
Both camps will be limited to 80 participants. Each player will also receive a post-camp email evaluation from the Akron baseball coaching staff. Every registrant will receive camp day instructions via email one week before the camp.
Participants must also fill out the camp waiver form prior to participation in any Akron baseball camp. Parent or legal guardian must fill out waiver for each participant. No camper will be allowed to participate without a completed and signed waiver.
