Women's Soccer Hosts Cleveland State for Spring Match on Wednesday

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron women's soccer team will host Cleveland State University for a spring schedule match on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., on Schrank Field.
Wednesday's game will be the second game played on the spring schedule thus far. Akron played two games against Youngstown State and West Virginia Wesleyan to begin the spring schedule on March 17.
UA defeated both Youngstown State and West Virginia Wesleyan by scores of 1-0 and 5-0, respectively. Six different Zips scored goals in the games on March 17.
All spring schedule games for Akron women's soccer are free of charge and are available to the public.
Also, the last date on the home spring schedule will be Saturday, April 20, which has two games scheduled. The first match will be an Alumni vs. Alumni game that will start at 10 a.m., and the second match will be St. Francis vs. Akron at 5 p.m. These games will be played at First Energy Stadium – Cub Cadet Field.
The alumni game will have a post-game luncheon with the staff and players. There will also be a presentation to the alumni during the post-game luncheon. Interested Alumni must RSVP with Michelle Smith. She can be contacted by email at mms124@uakron.edu or by phone at (330) 972-2375 x5.
