Men's Golf Tied for Fourth at UD Fall Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio – The University of Akron men's golf team, led by sophomore Charlie Bull, is tied for fourth place on Monday at the 2011 UD Fall Invitational at the par-71, 7,055-yard NCR South Course.
Bull, the reining two-time Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week, sits atop the leaderboard with four other players thanks to his round of even-par 71.
The Zips posted a round of 301 (+17) to finish tied for Evansville heading into the final round. IUPUI grabbed the day-one lead thanks to a round of 9-over 293.
Senior Ryan Mason closed out his round of 76 (+5) in a tied for 23rd place while fellow senior Scott Landreth and freshman Harry Whittle are tied for 33rd place with a score of 6-over 77.
Junior Cameron Simmons sits tied for 57th place after posting a round of 9-over 80.
Tomorrow's final round will begin at 9 a.m. ET with a shotgun start.
