as a Junior (Spring 2013): Made a return trip to the NCAA Regional Championship and earned PING All-Region team (Midwest) honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for a second-consecutive season ... was named First-Team All-MAC and earned a spot on the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament team ... finished the 2012-13 season fifth in the MAC in overall scoring average 73.15 (33 rounds) ... had six top-25 finishes in seven events in the spring, posting a 73.05 scoring average over 22 rounds ... posted nine rounds at par or better ... earned his second-straight top-25 at the NCAA Regionals (May 16-18), carding a 9-over 222 ... finished in third place at the MAC Championship (290, +2), his second-straight top-five finish ... posted an eighth-place performance at the Boilermaker Invitational (April 20-21) ... also finished tied for 15th place at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate (March 11-12) and Furman Intercollegiate (March 22-24) ... also finished tied for 19th at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate (April 6-7) ... posted a perfect 3-0 record at the MAC Match Play event (Feb. 11-12).
as a Junior (Fall 2012): Did not finish outside the top-15 in four events in the fall, including one victory, while recording a 73.36 scoring average (11 rounds) ... had four rounds at par or better, including two rounds in the 60s ... earned his first individual title at the Kenny Perry Invitational (Oct. 14-16) with a 9-over 225 ... his victory earned him MAC Golfer of the Week honors (Oct. 17) ... opened the season with a tie for 13th place at The Invitational at Kiawah (Sept. 9-11) ... followed that up with a tie for second at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate (Sept. 15-16) and a tie for 12th place at The Firestone Invitational (Oct. 8-9) ... his score of 4-under 209 at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate was the lowest 54-hole total for the Zips on the year.
as a Sophomore (Spring 2012): Became the first Akron player in the Division I era of UA golf (since 1980) to qualify for the NCAA Regional Championships ... also became the first Zips' golfer to be named to the PING All-Region team (Midwest) by the GCAA... named First-Team All-MAC ... his average of 73.19 during the 2011-12 campaign ranked 6th-best in the Mid-American Conference ... posted three top-25 finishes in seven events ... posted five rounds at par or better ... finished tied for fourth place at the MAC Championship (April 27-29) with a three-round score of 1-over 217 ... his MAC finish helped propel him into an at-large bid to the NCAA Central Regional (May 17-19), where he finished tied for 19th place (213, E) ... his round of 5-under 66 during the final round was the top score of the final round and tied for the second-lowest round of the event ... he also finished tied for 18th place at the Memphis Intercollegiate (April 10-11) with a three-round tally of 227 (+11).
as a Sophomore (Fall 2011): Had one of the best starts to a season in program history, posting five top-12 finishes in five events, including four in the top-six ... posted a 70.64 scoring average over 14 rounds, the top mark in the MAC in the fall season ... recorded the best two-round and three-round scores of the season in the fall ... finished three-of-five events at par or better ... had nine rounds at par or better ... opened the season in a tie for 12th place at the Northern Intercollegiate (Sept. 10-11) with a round of 220 (+7) ... began a streak of four top-six finishes with a tie for sixth place at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate (210, -3) on Sept. 23-25, which included a season-best tying round of 5-under 66 during the second round ... finished tied for third place (213, E) at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate (Oct. 1-2) ... carded his first collegiate hole-in-one en route to a three-round score of 6-under 210 at the Firestone Invitational (Oct. 10-11), finishing tied for third place ... concluded the fall slate with a 3-over 145 at the UD Invitational (Oct. 17-18) to finish tied for fifth place.
as a Freshman (Spring 2011): Appeared in all six tournaments in the spring, posting a 73.56 scoring average (18 rounds) ... carded just one round over 77 in 18 rounds, including a career-low round of 68 during the second round of the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational (March 7) ... carded four rounds at par or better ... finished the spring with three top-10s and four top-20s ... finished tied for second at the UK Bluegrass Invitational (April 9-10) with a 2-over 215 (70-70-75) for the best finish of his career ... his other top-10 finishes included a tie for third place at the Illini Spring Classic (April 16-17) with a score for 146 (73-73), Akron's monumental victory over seven Golfstat Top-100 teams, and a tie for ninth at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate after posting three-straight rounds of 72 (219, +3) ... closed out the season in a tie for 16th place at the MAC Championships (76-75-77-73 – 301) ... led the team with three eagles and tied for the team-lead with 43 birdies.
as a Freshman (Fall 2010): Played in all six tournaments and finished the Fall campaign with a 75.71 scoring average (17 rounds) ... carded one round in the 60s and 13 rounds in the 70s ... was third on the team with 36 birdies ... fired a season-best 69 during the first round of the Memphis Intercollegiate (Oct. 25), including seven birdies ... finished the campaign with one top-25 finish ... earned a tie for 22nd at The Firestone Invitational (Oct. 11-12) after carding a season-best score of 220 (74-71-75) ... battled tough weather conditions to finish tied for 28th at the Memphis Intercollegiate (Oct. 25-26) with a three-round tally of 225 (69-80-76) ... opened his collegiate career with a tie for 35th place at the Maryland Intercollegiate (Sept. 18-19) after carding rounds of 73, 76 and 74 (223).
at Bradfield College: Was the Florida Junior Match Play, the Future Collegians World Tour California Bayonet and Black Horse Champion during his prep career ... was named a FCWT first team All-American ... placed fourth at the Southern Junior and Florida State Junior events ... was sixth at the Future Masters event ... eighth-place finisher at the Western Junior.
