Baseball Opens RussMatt Invitational Against Yale

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - The Akron baseball team will take on the Yale Bulldogs at 6 p.m. this evening in its first game at the RussMatt Invitational. The Zips were initially slated to begin play yesterday against Butler but heavy rains in the area ground competition to a hault and forced several schedule changes.

The Zips (5-6) will play the Bulldogs (4-1-1) at Henley Field (Lakeland, Fla.).

Technical difficulties have been resolved and LIVE STATS will be available for the duration of the weekend.
