Details Announced For Together Against Breast Cancer Tournament

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron softball team would like to welcome all fans of the program to the annual Together Against Breast Cancer tournament set for Oct. 4 at Firestone Stadium, the home of local professional softball team, the Akron Racers.
The event, designed to bring area softball teams together to help bring awareness to breast cancer, will welcome 12 teams to the tournament with all proceeds benefiting the fight against breast cancer. Spectator tickets for adults will be $5, students with I.D. $2 and children 12 and under are $1.
Akron will play two games in the event at 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The first match-up will feature the Zips and Horizon League opponent Youngstown State and the second will have UA facing off with Ashland University. For a complete schedule please see below.
