Field Conditions Delay Baseball's Home Opener

AKRON, Ohio –

The University of Akron baseball team's home-opening series with Ball State has been pushed back due to unplayable field conditions. Friday's originally scheduled game will be made up as part of a nine-inning, doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m.

Sunday's game will be played as scheduled, starting at 1 p.m.

Fri., March 20 vs. Ball State, Postponed
Sat., March 21 vs. Ball State (DH), 1 p.m.
Sun., March 22 vs. Ball State, 1 p.m.

All three games will be played at Lee Jackson Field.
