Rifle to Host Turkey Shoot

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron rifle team will host their first ever UA Turkey Shoot this Thursday and Friday and is inviting the public to participate. The friendly competition will be held in Shrank Hall, South Room 7, and will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

Participants will have the opportunity to test their shooting skills against UA Alumni and friends in this important team fund-raiser. The cost is $5 for five shots or $10 for 15 shots. The UA rifle team will open the 2006 season at the Boilermaker Invitational at Purdue University on Oct. 14.
