Camp Info
Campers, entering the ninth grade and older, will receive advanced
instruction on all position play, hitting, slapping, pitching, base
running and sliding. Campers will also be divided into teams
(depending on numbers) for games during the last session of each
day.
Tuition
Tuition for the Akron Softball Overnight Elite Camp will be $200.00
per player commuting to the camp and $300.00 per player staying on
campus.
Housing
If you sign up to be a resident camper, check-in at the resident
hall will be July 16 at 8:00 p.m. Campers staying in the resident
hall will be supervised by Akron softball camp employees. Resident
life employees are on duty 24 hours a day. The resident hall will
provide linens, pillows, towels, and washcloths.
Meals
All resident campers will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the
campus dining hall. Commuter campers will be provided lunch and
dinner in the dining hall.
Equipment
Softball equipment should include: Glove, bat, cleats, tennis
shoes, helmet, batting gloves, visor, etc. If you are staying
overnight you do not need to bring towels or sheets. Personal items
should include: Clothes for 3 days of camp, additional clothes for
after camp activities, swimsuits, sunscreen, toiletries, etc.
Akron Softball Young Zips Camp
July 17-19, 2006, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Camp Info
Campers, ages 8-13, will receive fundamental skill instruction on
fielding, hitting, pitching, baserunning and sliding.
Tuition
Tuition for the Akron Softball Young Zips Camp will be $120.00 per
camper.
Equipment
Please bring: Glove, bat, cleats, tennis shoes visor, helmet,
sunscreen, batting gloves, etc.
