University of Akron women's track and field senior Lucy Bryan (Bristol, England) was selected as the Summa Health Female Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday, April 29.
Bryan established a school and MAC record in the women's pole vault to headline the efforts of the Zips' track and field team at the LSU Invitational on April 27. Bryan captured the women's pole vault eclipsing a school-record mark of 14-9 (4.50m), breaking the all-time school and league standard of 14-5.50 (4.41m) set by Annika Roloff on May 10, 2014.
