Casey Ryan is in her first season working with Akron Lacrosse after being named an assistant coach on head coach Christy Mitchell's staff on July 1, 2021.

Ryan played four years at Beloit College in Beloit, Wis., where she was a two-time second-team all-conference selection for the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC).

Ryan graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was an assistant lacrosse coach at Wittenberg University from 2018-2021 while obtaining her master's degree in coaching in 2020.

Ryan has worked with several club teams in Ohio, Lucky Lax and Lightning. As an Illinois native, Ryan played four years of lacrosse and ran cross country at Libertyville High School.
