as a Senior (2006):
•Finished third in the pole vault at the NCAA IndoorChampionships with a school and conference record clearance of18-02.50.
• Cleared 18 feet or better four times during indoors
• Captured the MAC indoor title with a vault of 18-00.
• Set the then school and MAC indoor record at theseason-opening Akron Quad with an NCAA automatic qualifying vaultof 18-01.
as a Junior (2005):
•Provisional qualifier for the NCAA indoor meet with aseason-best clearance of 17-00.75 at the All-Ohio Champ.
• One of two MAC vaulters, along with teammate Kevin Poest,to clear 17-feet indoors.
• Earned second-team all-league honors by placing second atMAC Indoor Championships (16-06.75).
• NCAA Outdoor All-American, finishing tied for third in thepole vault (17-08.50).
• NCAA Mideast Regional champion with a school and MAC recordclearance of 18-01.
• Finished runner-up at the MAC outdoor meet (16-00.75).
• UA's outdoor MVP.
as a Sophomore (2004):
• Placed third at the 2004 NCAA indoor meet where he cleareda then MAC- and UA-record height of 18-00.50 becoming first MACstudent-athlete to clear 18 feet indoors.
• Set the MAC-and-UA record three times during the indoorseason.
• Won the league indoor crown with a then MAC-and-UA-recordheight of 17-10.50. Also set a MAC meet record and earned the MostOutstanding Performance award
• All-Ohio Indoor Champion with a jump of 17-10.50, setting aMalcolm Athletic Center Record.
•Opened the outdoor season with a win and a regionalqualifying 16-06.75 at the Coastal Carolina Invitational
• Set a then UA outdoor record (17-08.50) with his win at theadidas Raleigh Relays.
• No-heighted at the MAC outdoor meet.
• Named Academic All-MAC both indoor and outdoors.
as a Freshman (2003):
• Seventh at the NCAA Indoor meet (17-03.75) earning hisfirst All-America honor
• MAC Indoor Champion with a then-MAC-record mark of17-06.50.
• Set the UA indoor record twice during the season.
• NCAA Outdoor Championships qualifier. Cleared 16-04.75 inthe prelims.
• Had a UA record mark of 17-03.25 at the NCAA Mid-EastRegional
• Won the indoor and outdoor All-Ohio Championships (16-04.75OD; 17-0 ID).
• Won the James Horrigan Award as the UA Male Athlete of theYear.
at Princeton High School:
• Holds the school record in the pole vault at 15-09, set atthe adidas National Outdoor Championship in 2002 where he finishedsecond
• 2002 OHSAA pole vault champion (Div. I) with a jump of15-6. Also the district, league and regional pole vault champion in2002.
• Also an all-league selection in soccer.
