LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Akron redshirt senior Owen Wendl (Medina, Ohio) and sophomore Amari Noble (Virginia Beach, Va.) culminated their 2026 campaigns with their efforts in the men's discus in third-day competition at the NCAA East Preliminary Round on Friday (May 29).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Wendl and Noble registered marks of 178-10 (54.51m) and 178-7 (54.43m) to place 24th and 26th, respectively.

UP NEXT:
Akron concludes competition at the NCAA East Preliminary Round Championships on Saturday (May 30).
