Set the UA record in the 800m with a time of 1:51.66 at the Akron Invitational, breaking the six-year mark set by David Pykare.
Won the 800m at the Akron Quad (1:54.63).
Placed third in the 800m (1:55.34) at the MAC Indoors.
Ran the lead leg of the distance medley relay team at the Penn State National which posted a time of 10:02.62, second on the UA all-time list.

as a Junior (2009):

Named Academic All-MAC during the outdoor season with his 3.812 GPA in biomechanics ... Received honorable mention academic MAC honors for the indoor season.
His time of 1:52.98 in the 800m at the Zips Invitational ranks third on the UA all-time indoor list ... His outdoor time of 1:52.01 in the 800m at the All-Ohio Championships ranks fourth on the UA all-time list.
