2020 Indoor: Competed in six meets for the Zips, including placing eighth in the 800 meters (2:16.95) and 19th in the mile (5:09.42) at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 29)...posted five top-10 efforts in the 800 meters...recorded a season-best time of 2:12.32 in the preliminary round of the 800 meters at the MAC Championships (Feb. 28)...recorded times of 2:15.79, 2:12.80 and 2:13.24 to place third, fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 800 meters at the Akron-Kent State Dual (Jan. 24), Akron Invitational (Feb. 8) and Penn State National (Feb. 1)...registered a season- and career-best time of 4:55.95 to place eighth in the mile at the Grand Valley State Big Friday meet (Feb. 14)...won the 3,000 meters in 9:55.73 at the Akron-Central Michigan Dual (Jan. 17)...member of third-place distance medley relay team at the Penn State National (Jan. 31).

2019 Cross Country: Competed in all six races for the Zips and was Akron's top finisher in a pair of races, including earning first-team all-conference honors placing a team-best sixth in a time of 22:04.4 at the Mid-American Conference Championships (Nov. 2)...Hess became the 11th Zip in program history to collect first-team All-MAC honors and the first since Larisa Arcip in 2008...crossed the line second for Akron at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (Nov. 15) in a time of 21:45.0 (63rd)...recorded a career-best 6K time of 21:32.1 en route to placing a team-best 31st at the Penn State National (Oct. 18)...helped the Zips share the Division I team title at the All-Ohio Championships (Sept. 28) crossing the line fifth in 22:26.7...registered a season-best third-place performance in a time of 18:07.4 to direct Akron to a team title at the Tommy Evans Invitational (Sept. 7).

2019 Outdoor: Competed in five meets for the Zips, including earning second-team All-MAC honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships (May 10) in a career-best and third-fastest time in outdoor program history of 10:31.05...member of distance medley and 4x800 relays at the Texas Relays...registered season-best times of 4:41.95 and 2:19.89 to place second and fifth, respectively, in the 1,500 and 800 meters, at the Northeast Ohio Quad (April 5)...placed sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Jesse Owens Invitational (April 27) with a time of 10:55.49.

2016 Cross Country: Competed in all six races for the Zips, and posted a team-best finishes at the Tommy Evans Invitational (27th) crossing the line in 19:34.30…posted a time of 23:13.50 to place 65th at MAC Championships before running 22:42.5 (142nd) at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional...placed 30th at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational in 23:06.60...crossed the line in 23:05.40 at All-Ohio Championships.
