• Earned USTFCCCA All-America Honorable Mention honors after placing 18th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 8) in the hammer throw with a toss of 199-03
• Broke the school record in the hammer throw four times in the spring with the top mark of 207-04 coming on his sixth and final attempt at the NCAA Preliminary Round (May 25)
• Was the MAC Indoor Champion in the weight throw after posting a top toss of 65-02.00 at the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 24)
• Notched the third-best mark in school history in the weight throw at the Mark Colligan Memorial (Jan. 28) with a toss of 65-09.75, earning a runner-up finish

as a Junior (2011)
• Just missed qualifying for nationals after placing 13th in the hammer throw at the NCAA East Regionals with a PR throw of 200-04, which was the third-best mark in school history

• Won the weight throw at the Akron Quad (61-11.50) and the Zips Invitational (61-08.25)
