as a Junior (2005):
• Earned her first All-American honor with a seventh-placefinish (155-08) in the javelin. Set the school record of 159-03 inthe qualifying round (June 10).
• Became just the second thrower (Mary Varga, javelin in2001) in school history to earn All-America accolades.
• Posted a regional qualifying mark of 154-11 in the javelinat the Texas Relays (April 8). Finished fifth at the NCAA MideastRegional (May 28) with a toss of 153-11.
• Came in fifth (146-05) at the MAC outdoor meet.
• Academic All-MAC during outdoors. An All-Academic choice byUSTFCCA.
as a Sophomore (2004):
• NCAA regional qualifier and top-ranked javelin thrower inthe conference.
• Placed second at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a markof 144-03. Led the competition until the final throw.
• Season-best throw of 152-05 at the Akron Quad Meet whereshe was victorious.
• Finished third in section 'B' of the women's javelin at theTexas Relays with a best effort of 142-09.
• All-Ohio Champion in the javelin with a toss of 147-00.
as a Freshman (2003):
• Placed third at the MAC Outdoor Championships in thejavelin (139-2)
• NCAA Mideast Regional Qualifier. Had as season-best throwof 144-6 at the All-Ohio Championships.
at Freedom Area High School:
• Holds the school and county record in the javelin(156-2).
• No. 3-ranked HS javelin thrower in the country in 2002.
• Finished third in the javelin at the USATF Junior Nationalsin 2001. Placed second as a senior and fourth as a junior in thejavelin at the PIAA state championship.
• 2001 high school All-American. Also competed in hoops whereshe was a second-team all-section pick as a senior.
