2016: A 2017 Generation adidas class member, Lewis, the 2016 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year, scored a pair of goals in 2016 and led Akron in assists (12), scoring (16) and shots on goal (21), while ranking third on the team in shots (44)…his 12 assists were tied as the top mark nationally across the NCAA in Division I…was selected No. 3 overall by New York City FC in the MLS SuperDraft and is a member of the US Under-20 national team…started 20 of the 22 games he appeared in for the Zips and registered two goals and NCAA leading 12 assists on the campaign en route garnering second-team All-MAC accolades…rated first and seventh in the NCAA In 2016 in assists (12) and assists per game (0.55)…tabbed by TopDrawerSoccer.com to its men’s soccer Midseason Men’s Freshman Top-100 list (No. 10) before being selected No. 13 in the postseason tabulation…posted three multi-assist contests, including registering two assists against Oregon State (Sept. 9), SMU (Sept. 19) and Western Michigan (Nov. 5)…collected game-winning assists versus Oregon State (Sept. 9), Grand Canyon (Nov. 2) and Buffalo (Nov. 13)…notched first career goal, a game-winner, in a 2-0 triumph past Ohio State (Oct. 26)…scored Akron’s first tally in a 3-2 overtime decision past Grand Canyon (Nov. 2)…earned assist on Nick Hinds’ second goal in a 2-0 victory over Villanova in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament…led the MAC in assists (12) and assists per game (0.55), third in points (16), fifth in points per contest (0.73) and shots (44) and ninth in shots per game (2.00)…rated second and fourth, respectively, in league-only MAC tilts in assists (0.60) and shots (2.80) per game…an Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association first-team All-Ohio award winner.
PRIOR TO AKRON: Played for Chicago Fire Academy, Plantation FC and Kendall SC...scored 20 goals in 22 academy games playing for Kendall SC...selected to the US U-20 national team camp...earned an invitation to the Jamaican National Team camp.
