As a Redshirt Junior (2017-18): Appeared in 19 contests while making 16 starts … led the Zips in scoring by averaging 11.9 points per game … averaged 2.9 made three pointers per contest while shooting at a .340 percent clip from beyond the arc … made 10 three-pointers in a single-game against Ohio Christian which is now the Akron program record and is tied for the Mid-American Conference record for most triples in a single contest … scored a career-high 32 points against Ohio Christian on the strength of 11 made field goals, both a team season high … In 500 minutes of action, scored 225 points, grabbed 29 rebounds, dished out 25 assists, ripped 25 steals, and blocked eight shots … scored her 500thcareer point against Kent State (2/24) … scored in double figures in 11 of the 16 games played in while she hit at least three triples in each of the 11 contests … tallied double digit scoring efforts in a season-high five straight games which was highlighted by her 30 point performance … shot a season-best .636 (7-for-11) from the field en route to 20 points, two rebounds, and two assists against Youngstown State … tallied a career-best three assists against Ohio … recorded at least two rebounds in 10 games … recorded a .900 free throw percentage in MAC play … played over 30 minutes on six different occasions, including a career-high 36 minutes against Youngstown State … played a total of 500 minutes on the year.
As a RedshirtSophomore (2016-17):Appeared in all 30 contests for Akron, including making a pair of starts...averaged 7.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game...in conference play, recorded 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per outing and connected on 30 three pointers...rated second on the team in three pointers made (59) and attempted (182) and percentage (.324), third in total points (238), scoring (7.9), fourth in field goals made (81) and attempted (239) and steals (17) and fifth in blocked shots (8) and minutes played (20.5)...led Akron in rebounding, scoring and assists in four, three and two games, respectively...poured in a career-best 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including making a career-high six three pointers in a 78-66 victory at Georgia State (Dec. 20), equaling the eighth-best single-game effort for three pointers (6) in program history...turned in 11 double-figure scoring performances, including six in league play...had 13 tilts with three or more rebounds...pulled down a career-best seven rebounds in a 73-57 setback versus Western Michigan (Jan. 21)...registered a career-high three steals in an 80-62 win over Eastern Michigan (Jan. 28)...dropped three or more triples in 10 games...finished with 19 points on 7-of-12 (.583) shooting in an 80-59 triumph at Winthrop (Dec. 3)...dished out three assists versus Malone (Nov. 12) and at Penn State (Nov. 16).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2015-16):Appeared in 27 games averaging 2.3 points per outing...made her collegiate debut scoring two points in a 76-59 triumph over Winthrop (Nov. 20)...poured in a career-high eight points on 3-of-8 shooting at Western Michigan (Feb. 13)...registered six or more points in five contests...sparked the Zips to a come-from-behind 73-71 overtime win over Toledo (March 9) in the Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinals connecting on a pair of second-half three pointers...made at least one triple in 12 games, including hitting two three-pointers in wins versus Rochester College (Dec. 2), Kent State (Feb. 17) and Toledo (March 9)...rejected two shots against Bucknell in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT)...swiped a career-high two steals at Ball State (Feb. 3)...a first-team Academic All-Mid-American Conference selection.
As a Freshman (2014-15):Redshirted the campaign after suffering an ACL injury in the preseason.
At Austintown Fitch High School:Graduated as the school's second all-time leading scorer ... averaged 19.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game as a senior ... named the conference Player of the Year as a senior ... shot 53.0 percent from the field and 89.0 percent from the free throw line during her senior season ... three-time first team all-conference selection ... All-Ohio Special Mention.
Personal: Born Feb. 20...daughter of Mark Sefcikand Wendy Slater ... earned a bachelors degree in early childhood education and is currently pursuing a masters degree in curriculum and Instruction.
