As a Junior (2013): Transferred to UA after completing his undergraduate degree at Colorado ... appeared in three games ... completed 8-of-15 passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns ... added one touchdown on the ground ... led Akron to four touchdowns on his first six drives as a Zip ... went 2-of-4 for 18 yards and a touchdown at Central Florida ... scored three-total touchdowns against James Madison, including two through the air and one on the ground ... missed the majority of the season due to injury ... came in briefly during the first quarter of Akron's 16-7 win vs. Kent State.
As a Sophomore (2012 at Colorado): Played in eight games ... finished the season 55-of-93 passing for 589 yards, two touchdowns, and seven interceptions ... also had 25 carries for 60 yards rushing and one TD ... that rushing score came in the season finale versus Utah and was for one yard ... was 30-of-51 passing for a season-high 306 yards and one TD against Utah as well.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2011 at Colorado): Played in five games, including one start at Arizona State ... completed 4-of-7 passes for 52 yards against ASU ... for the season, completed 18-of-35 passes for 192 yards and zero touchdowns or interceptions.
As a Freshman (2010 at Colorado): Redshirted.
High School: Graduated early from Los Gatos HS and began attending Colorado in spring 2010 ... earned All-Region honors from PrepStar and SuperPrep, which ranked him as the No. 58 player from California, Hawaii, and Nevada and the eighth-best quarterback on that list ... ranked as the No. 26 quarterback by ESPN, No. 42 by Scout, and the No. 48 pro-style quarterback by Rivals ... as a senior, was named the Central Coast Section MVP, the Cal-Hi Sports Central Coast Section Offensive Player of the Year and the MVP of the De Anza League ... first-team All-Central Coast Section and first-team All-De Anza League by the San Jose Mercury News, helping Los Gatos to a 10-3 record and Central Coast Section championship ... completed 154-of-225 passes for 2,887 yards, 34 touchdowns and three interceptions ... those numbers established school records for passing yards and touchdowns in a season ... set the school's single-game record for passing yards when he completed 12-of-17 passes for 413 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions in a 47-0 win over Saratoga ... earned first-team All-De Anza League by the San Jose Mercury News as a junior, when he completed 114-of-192 passes for 2,191 yards, 15 touchdowns and five INTs ... team posted a 10-3 record during his junior season as well and was Central Coast Section champion for the second-straight year.
