as a Redshirt Junior (2008): Following a medical redshirt year, the right-handed hurler returned to Zips lineup with a career-high 21 appearances...In 39.0 innings of work, Farmer compiled a 3-3 record with a 6.69 ERA...The redshirt junior recorded 37 strikeouts (3rd) while surrendering just 17 walks...Earned first win over Ohio (April 18)...Returning from injury, Farmer made two starts against Youngstown State (April 9) and Bowling Green (May 16)...Tied Knoll for a team-high five saves this season...Was drafted by the Minnesota Twins for the second straight year in the 47th round (1,410 pick overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft in 2008.
