From Banfield: “Despite being undersized, Tate has the skillset and track record of success to help us at a number of spots. He’s a plus runner that plays shortstop at Lewis and Clark, but could defend all three spots on the infield for us and also could certainly handle the outfield in a super-utility role. Offensively he’s a tough out with a two-year track record of being a high walk-rate guy that can steal bases and help us generate runs in a number of ways. He also sports a 3.9 junior college GPA.”
