as a Junior (2009): Made 11 starts, with 10 at second base and one at shortstop in 2009…Had three multiple-hit games and one multiple-RBI game on the season…Notched a three-game hitting streak (Mar. 24-Mar. 28)…Posted a .217 batting average after registering 10 hits, including first career home run and four RBIs…Slugged a .283 percentage, collected six walks en route to a .302 on base percentage…Went 2-for-3 with a walk and RBI against Pittsburgh (Mar. 24). Had a career day against Kent State (May 5) in the third annual Diamond Classic for Kids after going 1-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored.
as a Sophomore (2008): Appeared in seven games for the Zips...In four at-bats, Solitario blasted a double, drove in three runs and scored a pair of runs...The infielder boasted a .500 batting average and on base percentage...Solitario made the most of his opportunities, driving in a career-high two runs while also notching his first career double in his only at bat against Cleveland State (April 29).
