From Banfield: “Dylan James in another athletic Ohio high school player that’s an accomplished basketball player with a high ceiling on the diamond. He’s a 6.9 runner that will throw it across the diamond in the upper-80s at 6’1 and not much over 150 pounds. We’ve signed him as a switch-hitting shortstop, but will also work to develop him on the mound where he has a quick arm and the ability to spin a true curveball. If Dylan puts in the work to develop physically, we think he has a chance to impact our team as soon as a year from now as his natural tools are impressive, especially considering his very young frame.”
