as a Junior (2009): Kordal emerged as one of the greater offensive threats on the Zips’ lineup after notching the third-most hits on the squad with 65 on the season…Registered 12 doubles (4th), a team-high four triples, five home runs and drove in the most RBIs on the team with 44 also scoring 41 runs…Started 45 games for the Zips, making 42 starts at first base, two in right field and one as designated hitter in 48 appearances…Impressive .984 fielding percentage ranked Kordal third on the team…Stole two bases in three attempts last year...Picked up 28 walks on the year to rank third among UA batters…Led the team with 13 multiple-RBI games and was finished the year tied for second with 21 multiple-hit games…Registered a career-high nine-game hitting streak (Apr. 17-Apr. 26)…Had a career day at the plate against Pittsburgh (Mar. 24), going 3-for-5 with a home run, pair of runs scored and career-high six RBIs.
