as a Junior (2008): Emerged as a leader for the Zips and was voted tri-captain along with fellow junior Frank Turocy and senior Doug McNulty...Started 14 games for the Zips before injury sidelined the junior outfielder...Hit .192 with 10 hits in 52 at-bats...Knocked three doubles, driving in six...Also drew a pair of walks in his limited playing season...Drove in a pair of runs against West Virginia (February 24) and Eastern Illinois (March 12)...Opened the season with a four game hitting streak (February 22-24).
