AKRON, Ohio - Former Akron Zips baseball player Sam Seeker recently signed a professional contract with the New Jersey Jackals of the Frontier League. Sam Seeker Signing Graphic Social

Seeker played in 99 games for the Blue and Gold from 2023-24. In his two seasons in the Rubber City, Seeker racked up 96 hits, 68 runs, 27 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 59 RBI, 45 walks and 15 stolen bases.
