As a Redshirt Senior (2016): Played in 11 games with one start at quarterback ... also saw action on the kickoff return unit ... after a game-and-a-half at QB, finished 16-of-36 for 270 yards and a touchdown ... rushed 27 times for 40 yards ... made starting debut at quarterback in the season finale at Ohio ... went 12-of-27 for 136 yards while rushing for 25 yards ... in his final game at InfoCision Stadium, took over at quarterback in the second half against Bowling Green after both Woodson and Chapman left the game with injuries ... went 4-of-9 for 139 yards and a touchdown while helping the Zips erase an 18-point deficit and tying the game at 28-28 in the fourth quarter ... at wide receiver, had a three-yard reception ... lettered.
As a Redshirt Junior (2015): Played in 10 games with three starts at wide receiver … fourth in receiving with 12 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown … in the win over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, put Akron on the scoreboard with a 14-yard touchdown pass to QB Thomas Woodson on a trick play … in the win at Louisiana, had two catches for 18 yards … in the MAC opener against Ohio, had three receptions for 29 yards, including a 12-yard catch … at Bowling Green, had a 14-yard touchdown reception … had an eight-yard catch in the win at UMass … against Pittsburgh, he had three receptions for 27 yards ... lettered.
As a Junior (2014): Redshirted.
As a Sophomore (2013): Appeared in 10 games with five starts at wide receiver (Z) ... finished the season with 18 catches for 255 yards and three touchdowns ... all three touchdowns came in the fourth quarter ... caught at least one pass in each of the 10 games he appeared ... posted a career-high 76 yards on three catches and a touchdown against Toledo in the season finale ... his 35-yard TD against the Rockets came one play after the Akron defense held UT on fourth down, giving the Zips a 31-17 lead with 6:41 to play ... also had touchdown catches at Michigan and at Northern Illinois ... he gave Akron a 24-21 lead with 4:10 to go at Michigan with is TD reception while his score at NIU cut the Huskies lead to 27-20 late in the fourth quarter.
As a Freshman (2012): Member of the Zips' 2011 signing class, but did not enroll at UA until January 2012 ... participated in spring practice ... played in nine games ... made 14 catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns ... one of seven receivers to have multiple TD receptions ... one scoring catch came in a win over Morgan State and versus Bowling Green ... had a season-best showing of three catches for 32 yards at FIU.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Archbishop Stepinac HS ... as a senior was named Class A New York State Player of the Year, Madison Square Garden Player of the Year, Journal News Player of the Year, first-team All-State, first-team All-Borough, first-team all-CHSFI and first-team All-City ... as a junior was tabbed an offensive player of the year finalist and all-CHSFI ... led program to a 20-3 record as starting quarterback, including a 12-0 record and a division and conference championship during his senior year ... finished his interscholastic career with 3,012 passing yards and 1,867 rushing yards ... 1,686 passing yards during his senior campaign was the most in a single season at Stepinac.
