AKRON, Ohio - In honor of former men's soccer coach and 2010 Akron Varsity 'A' Hall of Fame member Dr. Tom "Doc" Nash's 90th birthday today (June 22), the Akron Men's Soccer Alumni are helping Zips men's soccer season ticket holders get even more value for their ticket purchase by bringing back commemorative scarves!

For every season ticket purchased, fans will receive an exclusive Zips soccer scarf honoring Doc Nash. Doc Nash helped coach the 1986 Zips team that made it to the national championship, and was also a professor, geoscientist, park ranger, writer, cartographer, and father of former Zips men's soccer student-athletes Michael, Pat, and Tim.
