MAC RELEASE 2026 MAC SCHEDULE

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the 2026 conference volleyball schedule on Wednesday, April 29. THE 2026 Akron VB Conference Schedule

The Zips will play eight games in conference at James A. Rhodes Arena, with the conference home opener set for September 25 against Toledo.

Akron will also host Western Michigan (Oct. 8+9), Buffalo (Oct. 13), Bowling Green (Oct. 17), Central Michigan (Oct. 6+7) and Kent State (Nov. 14). The Zips will travel to Kent State to begin #MACtion on Sept. 23, while also traveling to Ohio (Oct. 2+3), Miami (Oct. 24), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 30+31) and Buffalo (Nov. 10).

The volleyball regular season will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 14, with the top six teams in the conference moving on to the postseason for the MAC Volleyball Tournament. Ball State claimed the 2025 Regular Season title and will be the host for the 2026 MAC Volleyball Championship on Nov. 20-22 at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Ind.
