Shannon, Ala. – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back in action on Sunday through Tuesday, March 8-10 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Silver Lakes in Shannon, Ala. for the 2026 Chris Banister Golf Classic hosted by Jax State.

The Course
All 54 holes will be played on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Silver Lakes (Par 72 • 6,214 yards)

The Field (16 Teams)
The three-day, 54-hole tournament showcases a 16-team field including, Jax State (host), Akron, Bradley, Central Michigan, Chattanooga, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana State, Jacksonville, Longwood, North Dakota, Samford, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Troy, UAB and West Georgia.

Tournament Format
The tournament is scheduled a trio of 18-hole rounds starting on Sunday, March 8 with tee times from holes No. 1 and 10 at 10:30 a.m. Monday's (March 9) second round is scheduled for a 10 a.m. shotgun start followed by Tuesday's (March 10) final round shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
