Zips-Cardinals Selected For National Television

AKRON, Ohio - The Akron men's basketball team will be featured on national television when they travel to Ball State on Friday, February 20 at 6:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
The road contest will be the third game in the month of February that the Zips will play in front of the national audience. Akron is set to battle Troy on the road on February 7 (ESPN2), while hosting UMass at the JAR on February 13 (CBSSN). It will mark the seventh nationally televised contest for the Zips this season,
Akron has two remaining dates which could get picked up. Those dates will be announced 21 days prior to the contests, which may affect a home contest against NIU (March 6), as well as a road game at Kent State (Feb. 27).
