Zips Announce 2026 Baseball Schedule

AKRON, Ohio - Under the direction of third-year head coach Bryan Faulds, the Akron baseball team announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, December 17.
The Blue and Gold play their first 12 games on the road, beginning with a four-game series at Presbyterian College (Feb. 13-15). Akron then travels to battle Western Illinois (Feb. 20-23) in Millington, Tenn. After that, Akron begins a five-game swing through North Carolina, with trips to Western Carolina (Feb. 24), NC State (Feb. 25) and North Carolina A&T (Feb. 27-Mar. 1).
Akron plays its first game at Skeeles Field when it hosts Dayton (Mar. 4). The Zips stay home for the next eight games, with Western Michigan (Mar. 6-8), Oakland (Mar. 11), UMass (Mar. 13-15) and Mercyhurst (Mar. 17) coming to the Rubber City.
Akron will also host Toledo (Mar. 27-29), Youngstown State (Apr. 14), Northern Illinois (Apr. 17-19), Kent State (May 1-3) and Miami (OH) (May 14-16),
Along with the opening road swing, Akron will travel to Eastern Michigan (Mar. 20-22), Mercyhurst (Mar. 24), Youngstown State (Mar. 31), Bowling Green (Apr. 2-4), Kent State (Apr. 6), Pittsburgh (Apr. 8), Ball State (Apr. 10-12), Ohio State (Apr. 21), Ohio (Apr. 24-26), Dayton (Apr. 28), Central Michigan (May 8-10) and Oakland (May 12).
