AKRON, Ohio - The 12th-rated University of Akron rifle team travels to Lexington, Va., for an 8:00 a.m. showdown with No. 19 UAB and No. 21 VMI on Saturday (Nov. 1).

Senior Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.) maintains team-high averages of 1179.00, 588.60 and 590.40, respectively, in the combined, smallbore and air rifles.

Scheduled to compete for the Zips are redshirt seniors Joey Hahn (Middle Grove, N.Y.) and Sally Reeke (Clifton, Va.), seniors Rachael Paddock (Perry, N.Y.) and Siek, junior Diane Heschel (Oak Harbor, Ohio), sophomore Kiley Jones (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and freshmen Kiersten Allen (Somerset, Pa.) and Matthew Kimball (Pineville, La.).

Akron will follow its match traveling to Columbus, Ohio, to battle No. 10 Murray State, No. 11 Ohio State and No. 13 UTEP on Nov. 8.
