Men's Basketball Releases Non-Conference Game Times

AKRON, Ohio - The Akron men's basketball team has unveiled the times for its non-conference slate.
Coming off a 2024-25 season that saw the Blue and Gold go 16-0 at James A. Rhodes Arena, the Zips will host six non-conference games this season against James Madison (Nov. 3 - TBA), Princeton (Nov. 8 - 12 p.m), Penn State Shenango (Nov. 12 - 7 p.m.), Milwaukee (Nov. 29 - 7 p.m.), Bucknell (Dec. 3 - 7 p.m.) and Concord (Dec. 29 - 7 p.m.).
Akron will also travel to Purdue (Nov. 16 - 7:30 p.m.) and Tulane (Dec. 6 - 4 p.m.).
The Zips are slated to battle Iona in the first round of the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands (Nov. 21 - 5 p.m.) and then Oregon State or Evansville in round two (Nov. 22/23 - TBA), with the final game of the Paradise Jam set for Nov. 24.
Akron will also take on Murray State in Henderson, Nev. (Dec. 13 - 4 p.m.). The Zips will travel for the second round of the MAC-SBC Challenge (Feb. 7 - TBA) for their final non-conference matchup of the regular season.
