BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - University of Akron freshman Noah Nyageo (Kitale, Kenya) won the men's 8K at the Falcon Invite hosted by Bowling Green on Friday (Oct. 17) in a time of 24:46.9, while junior Megan Hipple (Warren, Ohio) finished fourth in the women's 6K in a time of 21:09.7.

Sophomore Emil Stanford (Sunbury, Ohio), senior Taye Gonzalez (Lewis Center, Ohio), junior Quinn Hopkins (Akron, Ohio) and sophomore Jared Newenhisen (Barberton, Ohio) rounded out Akron's scoring efforts crossing the line in 25:47.9 (15th), 25:56.6 (17th), 26:29.7 (40th) and 29:04.1 (83rd), respectively.

Additionally, junior Kayla Sucharski (Galena, Ohio) and redshirt senior Emily Razo (Salem, Ohio) crossed the line in 22:17.2 (15th) and 25:26.0 (88th), respectively, in the women's field.

The Zips travel to Buffalo, N.Y., to compete at the Mid-American Conference Championships on Nov. 1.
