Madelyn Gatrall Named MAC Swimmer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Madelyn Gatrall was named the Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Gatrall sotw x2

Gatrall claimed gold in four events as the Akron Zips took down the Buffalo Bulls on the road Saturday, 181-118. The Zips claimed gold in 11 of the 16 events against the Bulls.

Madelyn was a part of two relay teams that finished first. Leading off the 200-y Medley Relay team, the Zips finished with a time of 1:42.19. Madelyn also led off the 200-y Free Relay squad that finished with a time of 1:33.32. She also claimed gold in the 100-y Back (54.68) and 200-y Back (2:01.26).
