Golf Opens 2024 Rocket Classic at Catawba Island Club

Akron, Ohio – The Akron returns to action at the 2024 Rocket hosted by Toledo at the Catawba Island Club (Par-72, 5,979 yards) in Port Clinton, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 30 - Oct. 1.
The Field (10 Teams)
Toledo (Host), Akron, Bethune-Cookman, Central Michigan, Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, Le Moyne, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Tennessee Tech.
Tournament Format
The 54-hole tournament is scheduled for two days of competition with 36 holes of continuous play on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Shotgun start both days.
Akron Lineup
The Zips lineup consist of juniors Maisarah Hezri, Hridhika Vora, Avery Wright and Emily Liptak along with sophomore Katrin Horn Danielsdottir (Ind.) and freshman Sohniya Chandra Mohan.
