Zips Conclude Spring Season with Blue and White Showcase

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football program capped a successful spring campaign with the annual Blue and White Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 27 before an energized crowd at the InfoCision Stadium.

Akron's marching band Ohio's Pride was in attendance and provided the soundtrack of the spring showcase, while fans had the ability to visit the Kaulig Companies Club Level at InfoCision Stadium.

The Akron football team used a combination of practice and scrimmage situations to showcase the 2024 squad. The Blue and Gold started with spring drill session by position groups and a 7 on 7 segment before the third and final scrimmage of the spring season.

Akron opens the 2024 season traveling to Columbus, Ohio, to battle Ohio State on Aug. 31 and will be on the road on Sept. 7 at Rutgers before hosting Colgate on Sept. 14 at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.
