NCAA Selection Show Watch Party at The JAR

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron will hold an NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party for its Mid-American Conference Tournament champion men's basketball team on Sunday, March 17 at James A. Rhodes Arena with doors opening at 5:30 PM and the show starting at 6 p.m. ET. Parking for the event is free in Lots 1, 2, 8 and 13.

The second-seeded Zips defeated eighth-seeded Kent State, 62-61, on Saturday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland to earn the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Fans can choose their seats on the west side of the arena to watch the 6 p.m. Selection Show broadcast on CBS, which will also be shown on the JAR video board.

Members of the men's basketball program, which is appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history (1986, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2022, 2024) will be on hand to watch the Selection Show with Zips fans.
