United Soccer Coaches Names Clapier to Midfielders to Watch List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Akron men's soccer junior midfielder Dyson Clapier (Layton, Utah) was among those honored when United Soccer Coaches announced the Midfielders on its NCAA Division I Men's Players to Watch lists for the 2023 intercollegiate season.
A 2022 United Soccer Coaches and College Soccer News Third-Team All-America honoree, Clapier started all 18 games in which he appeared for Akron a season ago en route to recording team-high marks in assists (7), shots (38) and game-winners (3), while rating second in goals (7), points (21) and shots on goal (19).
