CANTON, Ohio - University of Akron track and field redshirt junior Jabari Neal-Jackson (Cincinnati, Ohio) triumphed in the men's hammer on the strength of a career-best and No. 2 mark in outdoor program history of 211-11 (64.59m) to headline the Zips' performances at the Walsh University Tune-Up Invitational on Thursday, April 27.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Sophomore Brynn Rychlik (Marysville, Ohio) bested the field in the women's pole vault eclipsing a career-best mark of 13-4.75 (4.08m).
• Sophomore Lane Graham (Killbuck, Ohio) won the men's shot put with a throw of 54-7 (16.64m), while freshman Josiah Cox (New Franklin, Ohio) and redshirt sophomore Davis Hedrick (Norwalk, Ohio) finished second and third, respectively, with career-best marks of 54-2.75 (16.53m) and 52-3.25 (15.93m).
• Redshirt senior Milton Wilson (Streetsboro, Ohio) placed third in the men's hammer with a mark of 195-11 (59.72m)
• Hedrick also led the Zips' efforts in the men's discus placing third with a mark of 158-2 (48.21m).
