Akron Football Kicks Off Spring Practice Drills

2023 AKRON FOOTBALL SCHEDULE | BUY 2023 SEASON TICKETS
AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron football program, under the leadership of second-year head coach Joe Moorhead, kicked off the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 28, at the Stile Athletics Field House.
The team will practice Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout the spring. Practices are closed to the public.
The Zips' annual Spring Game is slated for Saturday, April 29, at 3 p.m.
Akron opens the 2022 season traveling to Philadelphia, Pa., to battle Temple on Sept. 2 before hosting Morgan State on Sept. 9 at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.
Season tickets are available now by calling or texting the Akron ticket office at 888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
