AKRON, Ohio - The 12th-ranked University of Akron rifle team will commence its home schedule on Saturday (Oct. 28) as the Zips welcome No. 10 Memphis to the Robert A. Pinn Shooting Range at Schrank Hall South for a 9 a.m. match.

Senior Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio) leads this season posting team-best averages of 1180.67 and 596.0, respectively, in the combined and air rifles. Senior Erin Schnupp (Gorham, Maine) and Perkowski each own a team-high 584.67 average in the smallbore.
