AKRON, Ohio – With under a month remaining until the season opener, the Akron Zips opened training camp on a beautiful, sunny Wednesday morning at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field.
Under the guidance of first-year head coach Joe Moorhead, Akron football returned to the field for more than 90 minutes of drills as part of the first practice of the preseason.
Akron opens the 2022 season hosting Saint Francis (Pa.) at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field on Thursday, Sept. 1. The game will kick off on ESPN3 at 6 p.m.

Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
