Cleveland, Ohio – CBS Sports Network selected the Akron versus Ohio men's basketball game as the Mid-American Conference wildcard game for Tuesday, March 3, the league announced on Wednesday.

The Akron/Ohio game is scheduled to be aired on CBSSN on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. from James A. Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio.

The time change marks the second MAC wildcard selection for the Zips and fifth scheduled game to appear in front of a nationally televised audience, including their third appearance on CBS Sports Network.

The Zips are currently riding a four-game winning streak and own a 20-6 overall record with a 10-3 league mark. Akron is 6-1 against MAC opponents on the road and 4-2 at Rhodes Arena. The Zips are 12-2 at the JAR overall this season.

The Zips return to James A. Rhodes Arena to play the second meeting of the season against Miami on Saturday, Feb. 22 as Akron takes the court following the women's game at 1 p.m. The men's tip-off is scheduled for roughly 4 p.m. start on ESPN3 which also can be heard on at SportsRadio1350.com, iHeart Radio, and TuneIn.com/AkronZips.
