AKRON, Ohio– The Varsity "A" Hall of Fame Committee is seeking ads for its 2019 Hall of Fame program.

During Homecoming weekend, Akron will induct the 45^th Hall of Fame Class— Andy Alleman, Keith Dambrot, Randy Ecrement, James "Dru" Joyce, Cadeau Kelley, Stevi Large Gruber, Latrese Taylor Sanders, and Romeo Travis— and honor the Teams of Distinction— the 2009 men's soccer team and the 1999 women's track and field team–, the Kenneth "Red" Cochrane Meritorious Service Awardee, Jim Grove, and the Mike Krino Varsity "A" Achievement Awardee, Dr. David Axner.

The keepsake HOF program will feature biographies and photos of all honorees. The cost of publishing the program is offset by the generosity of business owners, donors, and friends of the Varsity "A" who purchase advertisements.

Full page ads are $ 100; half-page ads are $ 60; and quarter-page ads are $35. All ads are black/white.

To place an ad, fill out the attached form and email camera-ready artwork to cathyb@uakron.edu by Sept. 30.

The banquet festivities on Saturday, Oct. 12 will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom with a brunch buffet followed by the induction program at 11:30 a.m. The cost of the banquet is $45 per person and $20 for children (12 and under) for tickets purchased by Sept. 30. Tickets purchased after Sept. 30 will be $65 per person and $25 for children (12 and under).
