"We are looking forward to the opportunity to play yet another Power 5 team in Ohio State," said Akron head coach Brandon Padgett. "Testing ourselves like this is what we wanted, and every match of this caliber will benefit us greatly."
On Saturday, Feb. 23, Akron returns home after a month of road matches to host Detroit Mercy (3-2 overall) at 9:30 a.m. The Zips then take on Binghamton (0-9 overall) at 6:30 p.m. Detroit Mercy and Binghamton play each other at 2 p.m. All matches will be played at the LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow.
