AKRON, Ohio -Â University of Akron men's soccer freshman Will Jackson (Hudson, Ohio) was recognized for his stellar rookie campaign when TopDrawerSoccer.com named its 2019 Men's National Top-100 Postseason Freshman list on Friday, Dec. 27.

Jackson was rated No. 93 in the national postseason rankings.

Starting each of the 17 games he appeared in for Akron in 2019, Jackson made an immediate on the Zips as a freshman earning Second-Team All-MAC accolades on the strength of team-best marks in shots on goal (20) and game-winners (3), while ranking second in goals (4), points (11) and shots (40) and third in assists (3).

He finished third in the league in shots on goal (1.18) per game and in game-winning goals (0.18) and fourth in shots (2.35) per contest. In league-only matches, he ranked first, second, fourth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in game-winners (0.40), goals (0.60), points (1.40), shots (2.20) and shots on goal (1.00) per outing.
